[edit]...but was handed over to French forces without a battle in 1240... and now: "Because of this the castle was abannoned and unlike many other castles in the region was never subjected to siege, instead it was handed over to the french government in 1240." is this a joke? again: Siege from 13.Nov.1240 till 16.Nov.1240 - than Surrender. Wikilink to article Carcassonne
[edit]I added a wikilink to the article Carcassonne, but I am unsure of the location of my edit within the text. I wikilinked the first unquoted instance of the word Carcassonne in the article, though the word occurs two times earlier within the same paragraph, both times as part of larger phrases inside quotation marks. Should I have wikilinked the very first instance of the word Carcassone, even though it is part of a longer, quotation-marked phrase, or was I correct in wikilinking the first standalone instance?
