I have a conflict of interest regarding this article as I am the subject. I am requesting a factual update to reflect my recent election to the National Academy of Engineering.

Proposed Addition: "In 2026, Milanfar was elected to the National Academy of Engineering for his contributions to computational photography."
Placement: This could be added to the lead paragraph or the "Honors and Awards" section.
