Perrie's childs name is Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain, Perrie posted it to her Instagram Mixer Jazzy (talk) 21:26, 5 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Not done First of all, no citation provided; secondly, per WP:BLPNAME and prior BLP discussions, we generally don't include names of non-notable children unless those names are widely known. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:35, 5 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
The name of their son has already been included in the article. Considering WP:BLPNAME I have removed the name now. – NJD-DE (talk) 21:44, 5 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Change “Perrie Edwards” to “Perrie Oxlade-Chamberlain” ~2026-35384-79 (talk) 19:30, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

 Not done. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 22:45, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I believe it’s sensical on the first line in the article, with (neé Edwards) afterwards. But the article should stay as Perrie Edwards, as her common name. EfficientOrganizer (talk) 22:35, 8 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

As of right now, there is no legal document online (or published article online) suggesting that Perrie Edwards has legally changed her last name from "Edwards" to "Oxlade-Chamberlain". A social media change does not equate to a legal change. This article from Daily Mirror also only reports on the social media change, and not a legal change. Nor has Edwards stated since her wedding that she is now Perrie Oxlade-Chamberlain. Per WP:BLP, this must happen in order for the lead to be changed. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:39, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

She might retain "Edwards" as the name of profession like Leigh-Anne Pinnock for a few years now. A change of surname does not certainly mean articles have to be moved as well. As far as I'm aware we should still use Edwards in this article. Iggy Swan (Contribs) 08:53, 30 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Again, there is no legal document, or published article, which meets Wikipedia criteria to prove that she has legally changed her surname (e.g., Jennifer Lopez). livelikemusic (TALK!) 02:16, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, makes sense. Maybe some press releases will confirm it if she releases new music in the following year. EfficientOrganizer (talk) 02:30, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
