[edit]Displacement of the engine is wrong, CART only allowed 2.65 litres. I guess the figure of 3,430 cc given in the article stems from the famous pushrod engine Mercedes-Benz/Ilmor used in the 1994 Indy 500. That engine however was only used just once in that race, every other Mercedes-Benz/Ilmor IndyCar/CART-engine was built to CART rules which limited capacity to 2.65 litre. 79.195.200.84 (talk) 16:05, 12 September 2017 (UTC)armorgeddon
- You are correct. I'm guessing whoever added the infoboxes to the pages for these cars just copied the one from the PC23. I've been fixing the 24-27. Carguy1701 (talk) 03:31, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
Incorrect image in infobox
[edit]The image in the infobox for this article does NOT depict a PC27/27B. It appears to be a PC25, judging by the sidepods and nose; the PC27/27B had a very distinct nose section. I recommend the image be deleted from the article for this reason. Carguy1701 (talk) 03:34, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
