This page has been subject to vandalism from an anonymous user who has been edit warring and copy pasting the same text into tangentially related Wikipedia pages.

In addition to referencing non-existent entities ("eDreams Opodo"), the user unfortunately makes a number of false or misleading comments that have been removed in other places, which include:

1) Factual error #1 "removed from the company."

This contradicts numerous publicly cited references and 20 that clearly state Mr Hare voluntarily resigned from the company and was thanked for his efforts:

"Mr Hare was a co-founder of the Company and now having seen the Company through the IPO he has tendered his resignation. Mr Hare remains a shareholder in the Company.

Philip Wolf, chairman of the Company, thanks Mr Hare for his contribution and leadership over the years, from inception and as one of the founding members in 1999, to having built up the Company to its present position as one of the largest online companies in Europe, and specially for his services as Independent Director since the Company went public."

2) Misleading narrative #1 "eDreams moved quickly... to Discharge to Mr. James Otis Hare for the exercise of his mandate as director "

The user does not mention that every Board member is "discharged" from the company each year. And that the "discharge" is a discharge of liabilities welcomed by each Board member.

3) Misleading narrative #2 The user seems to insinuate that Mr Hare, who had already retired in 2010 and no longer held an executive position, was single handedly responsible for the company's performance in 2014, with no mention of the actual executives in charge, nor the other Board members. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Memdreamer (talk • contribs) 09:09, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

Opodo Prime Abonement scam/trap

The formulation about opodo prime in the article sound like straight from opodo marketing.

Fact is, Opodo makes it willingly very hard to impossible to cancel your "opodo Prime membership". Despite a EU rule requires businesses to provide a clear and user-friendly cancellation button on their websites or apps, Opodo does not provide such a function in the "my prime" account management, ignores cancellation via email (despite acknowledging receipt) and then still charges you. see also https://www.reddit.com/r/LegaladviceGerman/comments/1j3lbln/opodo_prime_abo_scam/ Opodo says you are required to call their customer service center, which means you basically end up for 10+ Minutes in some Indian (can't say for sure, unintelligible English for sure) call center to no avail.

Request to update content regarding UN list

Hello, I am an employee/representative of eDreams ODIGEO and am posting with a conflict of interest as per Wikipedia's guidelines. I am requesting a correction to content in the article.

Current, incorrect text: Involvement in Israeli settlements See also: List of companies operating in West Bank settlements On 12 February 2020, the United Nations published a database of all business enterprises involved in certain specified activities related to the Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, including East Jerusalem, and in the occupied Golan Heights. Opodo and its parent company, EDreams ODIGEO, have been listed on the database in light of their involvement in activities related to "the provision of services and utilities supporting the maintenance and existence of settlements". The international community considers Israeli settlements built on land occupied by Israel to be in violation of international law.

Suggested, correct text: Seven firms previously listed were taken off, including British-registered online travel company Opodo and Spanish-domiciled online travel agent eDreams ODIGEO S.A.; the report said there were reasonable grounds to believe they were no longer involved in the activities that previously justified their inclusion.
