Edis was hired by the imperial war museum rather than the government departments that usually handled such things. So was she actually an official war artist. The claim isn't supported by the online refs.©Geni (talk) 19:28, 24 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

The Olive Edis:Imperial War Museum Photographer in Fance And Belgium, March 1919 source makes it pretty clear she was separate from the official war artist group.©Geni (talk) 00:43, 25 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
