Infobox Image
[edit]Hello fellow editors, hope you all doing well. I wish to bring this article up to GA level, like South India. The first step will be to organize the infobox images. Would it be appropriate that, since North India has eight states, we include one picture for each state? Thanks in advance.-25 CENTS VICTORIOUS 🍁 18:21, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
- @25 Cents FC: The Hindi Heartland includes the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, which are not north Indian states. Do you have reliable sources to explicitly define the north states only as 'Hindi Hearthland'. Also, 'Northern India' is not the same as 'North India'. Teh former includes regiosn that are non-Southern or northeast Indian states. 'North India' is ore explicitly, or a subset of 'Northern India'. You've also made major changes to the longstanding lead, removing sources without consensus / discussion, while you concern was to reorganise the Infobox images. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:38, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- OK, I've restored the longstanding lead. Let's discuss here for each para in the lead before changes are made. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:55, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hello @Fylindfotberserk Good day, hope you’re doing well. My apologies, what actually happened is that I later realized the Hindi Belt (or Hindi Heartland) also includes Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh. I removed “Hindi Belt” but forgot to remove “Hindi Heartland,” haha. Besides that, I wanted to check whether the other information I included in my version of the Lead section was fine and if we can reinstate them. Thanks-25 CENTS VICTORIOUS 🍁 13:30, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- @25 Cents FC: I'm fine, thank you. Hope you are fine as well
. I'll get back to you in a couple of hours. Have to go through my watchlist

- Hi, sorry for the late reply. Could you present current version vs your version in a paragraph-to-paragraph basis using {{Text diff}}? I believe it would be quite helpful to analyse that way. Thanks. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 18:19, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

Flora and Fauna
[edit]Flora and fauna have been added as a subsection under Geography. Therefore, the separate Flora and Fauna section has been removed. All necessary information/summary has also been added in the subsection.-25 CENTS VICTORIOUS 🍁 06:49, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
Possible AI text
[edit]Hi - I have flagged AI-generated text here, specifically that added in [this series of 2026 edits. They display the usual set of WP:AISIGNS, particularly undue emphasis on significance/broader trends -- The region plays a crucial role in India’s agriculture
, The region played a crucial role in the Indian freedom movement
, playing key roles
, shaped by geography, security concerns, and regional aspirations
, etc Gnomingstuff (talk) 00:47, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Please consider removing/ altering them like changing their grammar or sentence formation. Thanks.-25 CENTS VICTORIOUS 🍁 10:05, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
- @25 Cents FC: Was there any AI-generated text in these edits? Jarble (talk) 01:47, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- The information already existed, and AI was likely used to enhance the grammar, neutrality, and Wikipedia tone.-25 CENTS VICTORIOUS 🍁 08:46, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- Note that I've restored the pre-AI version of the lead section that very day. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:57, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
