180ZX
[edit]Does anyone have more complete information about this S12 model? It seems to have been sold only in Sweden and Norway, only in 1988. I can't find any web references to a 180ZX prior to 1988 or in any other country. There seem to be plenty of 1988 Silvias in the rest of Europe. I mistakenly omitted it when I revamped the table; there seems to be a dearth of information, especially in English. I have seen photos of more than one 180ZX with factory-applied "180ZX" badging intact, and photos confirming the CA18ET engine, but that's about it. AKADriver 22:01, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
chassis

S Platform isn't complete

Request for deletion of this article
[edit]I was have translated this page to Japanese. However soon later, I checked fact and knew this page is wrong. Reasons are those from “モーターファン別冊 ニューモデル速報 (Motor-Fan illustrated: New Models)” the Japanese magazine series:
- No.25 (1983-10-20) - In the second-generation S10, it was shared with Sunny, but in the third-generation
110-typeS110, it was designed based on Violet, which also adopted the FR layout. In the 4th generation, the wheelbase is extended, and the front suspension is shared with the basic construction of the Datsun 910. - No. 61（1988-06-25) - The 5th generation adopts a newly developed multi-link suspension. In this generation, the traditional semi-trailing arm has changed to a different construction.
- No. 140 (1993-11-27) - "The basic chassis and undercarriage are within the range of improvement and advance of the previous model, the front suspension is developed from Laurel's technology, and the rear suspension is greatly utilized by the technology of the new Skyline." (Translated from page 21)
- No. 243 (1999-03-07) - Even in the 7th generation, it continues to remain within the scope of improvement and maturation of the previous model.
From these explanations, this article should be removed and it should be clearly stated that the mechanisms of each generation are different. In addition, in the Japanese version, it was recognized that this article was an original research, and even if I searched, only Wikipedia was found, so it was subject to deletion.
