Liquid Glass is not neumorphic
[edit]Please do not mention Apple's new UI, Liquid Glass, in this article. Liquid Glass is not neumorphic in the traditional sense because it lacks the characteristic soft shadows and raised elements typically associated with neumorphic design. Instead, Liquid Glass focuses on transparency, light refraction, and fluid-like visual effects, differentiating it from the tactile, embossing style of traditional neumorphism. In fact, there are no sources anywhere saying that Liquid Glass is neumorphic. 2600:1700:1960:F100:45D4:FE1B:6A9C:8124 (talk) 08:16, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- This isn’t really a value judgement for us to make; if reliable sources describe it as neumorphic, then it should be mentioned. — HTGS (talk) 04:52, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
2025
[edit]All the refs are 2022. I've noticed this year especially everyone is moving towards this style, so updating the article may be needed. Example being MS Teams changing to this just today. Nixinova T C 10:24, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
Fixed typo on current image
[edit]I've uploaded a version with "Acept" changed to "Accept" on Commons: File:Neumorphism-fixed.jpg. It is a JPEG, so it's probably lost some (undetectable) quality, but I believe that fixing the typo is worth that. Awesomecat (✉ / ✎) 21:59, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
- I have implemented the change. Awesomecat (✉ / ✎) 02:00, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
