What are the third party sources cited in the text? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.68.112.75 (talk) 07:30, 15 December 2007 (UTC) "Third party" as in neutral, i.e., neither Russian or Turkish news reports: the word used was "reports", not "sources". As to the contemporary accounts section. This sounds like revisionist history. What do you think bodies would look like after being attacked with hatchets and hand tools? When you are fighting against firearms and you only have hatchets and other hand tools, you are going to have to hack people to pieces.
