Thank you for your kind reply dear Diannaa. So if you click on the link Greyson scale you will land on a table called "Bruce Greyson's composition of final NDE Scale" that has been copied pasted from reference (reference 32 in the article). Josezetabal (talk) 02:36, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Diannaa: with hindsight I think it is a mistake to paraphrase terms used in defining scales - such as the Greyon scale - so unfortunately i think we have no choice but do a copy paste. Likewise, the Common elements (2022 guidelines) table should not be paraphrased either. The terms used have precise meanings. I think that paraphrasing them is akin to changing a numerical value that has been established through consensus, or guidelines. Please let me know. bestJosezetabal (talk) 04:01, 6 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

The following excerpt: 'More recent research indicates that these distressing experiences generally do not [...] exhibit the same long-term transformative impact [as classical NDEs]' is seemingly contradicted by what is said in the first source of the article, which says 'These NDEs are traumatic in their realness, their rupturing the sense of worldly reality, and the power of the questions they raise'; I presume this is elaborated upon and explained in the full paper of citation 17, can someone confirm this? @ThrowawayEpic1000 thank you for your comment. I am a little lost - nowhere in the text of this WP article do I find "More recent research indicates that these distressing experiences generally do not..." or "These NDEs are traumatic in their realness, their rupturing the sense of worldly reality, and the power of the questions they raise". where did you find these excerpts? The first one is in the 'Negative NDEs or ICU delirium and delusions' part, I removed a little bit of the text when I was quoting it for better readability (As indicated by the [...]); The second quote is in the article linked in the first source. The article claims that negative NDEs do not have the same long-term impact as classical NDEs, which seems to be contradicted by the first source of the article, which says that they can have such long-term impacts, which is why I'm confused.
