I really like your article!! i think you picked an interesting and important topic, one that definitely needs more attention drawn to it. At least to me, it seems like such a far fetched idea at first that when one realizes the number of women that have undergone this procedure its shocking.
The only advice that I have is to include a section on women's activism around the issue. I got all the info i wanted on the procedure, its justifications and implementations but I am curious about how women reacted, how they organized and fought back against this crap!!
