WP:BLP states that "when the name of a private individual has not been widely disseminated or has been intentionally concealed, such as in certain court cases or occupations, it is often preferable to omit it." If Jean Powell has in fact been released, we should first change the infobox to reflect this. Come to think of it, I've never seen this kind of "current status" infobox section for the convicted on crime articles like this before. I understand the urge to include publicly-available info like this in the interest of being thorough, but one could argue it negatively affects the flow of the article, violates WP:UNDUE and WP:NPOV, and will require constant updating as these people get released or have their sentences changed. Anyway, if Powell has indeed been released under "witness protection"-style terms (as seems common for some of these well-publicized murderers to prevent vigilantism), then BLP policy would suggest it is not under our encyclopedic purview to list their new identities if/when they become public extralegally - even if we had a reputable source for it, which I'm not entirely clear that we do. I was reading the Wikipedia page for "The Ropers" TV show and clicking through the links. When I clicked on the link for Jean Gillespie, it directed me to the page for "The Murder of Suzanne Capper". The page itself contains no direct reference to the actress Jean Gillespie and she never acted in any of the films referenced in the page.
