Smallest village in Minnesota

[edit]

I find it extremely unlikely that Morningside was ever the smallest village in Minnesota, either in area or population. The article says its population was "under 1000" when it was incorporated, but there have always been many villages (now cities) in Minnesota with less than 100 people. The article says Morningside was 240 acres, or 3/8 of a square mile. I wonder if that is the correct size, but in any case, that is far from being the smallest in Minnesota. Willernie is only 1/10 of a square mile, and it was incorporated around the same time as Morningside.Bellczar (talk) 06:19, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
