The Cases and Trial Section needs work. It references "over the past 15 years" but then immediately references a verdict from 1997, at least according to publicly available sources: https://www.nytimes.com/1997/10/09/us/jury-finds-chrysler-liable-for-262.5-million.html.

The section states: "His work involving defective Chrysler minivan lift gate latches resulted in a $262.5 million jury verdict. Chrysler recalled more than 4 million minivans."

But the verdict was overturned on appeal: https://www.autosafety.org/chrysler-minivan-liftgate-latch/. Jiminez v. DaimlerChrysler Corp., 269 F.3d 439 (4th Cir. 2001). There was a 4.5 million car recall (https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1995-03-28-fi-47993-story.html) but it predated the verdict. The case was tried in 1997, 74 F. Supp. 2d 548. The ordering of the text suggests that the (overturned) verdict resulted in "more than 4 million" recalls of minivans, even though that has it backwards.

The following sentence is poorly written, making it unclear whether the tires caused rollovers, or the lawyers caused rollovers.

It is not possible that Watts tried "the first case in the country" in products liability. The section needs to be rewritten to establish which type of product liability actions he was the first to try in the country, with sources. The total amount of verdicts and settlements should be sourced.

The link in footnote 7 is broken and should be fixed. It's probably inaccurate. The case proceeded to summary judgment, which was addressed on appeal. According to the opinion, Mikal Watts was added as a defendant in September 2016, not non-suited.
