Conflict of Interest

This entry very probably violates Wikipedia's policy against conflict of interest editing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest. The account that created and maintains this entry doesn't edit any other entries on Wikipedia and is the acronym of the subject's lab at the University of Maryland (SMDRL - Social and Moral Development Research Laboratory). This fact likely explains why the page contains too much detail about recent publications and an exhaustive list of honors. Hello. I have a COI as well. I have added references that are not just the subject's university (unless needed for things like funding source). I have reduced the list of honors, and added references to those that remain. I have removed some extra content that could not be supported with references. This has been done properly via the COI edit request format (with the exception of some content removal). Is this sufficient to remove the maintenance tag regarding COI? If not, what is left to do? If needed, content regarding the subject's research could be trimmed, but I don't want to do that unless needed.

Goal: Update Research Section with relevant citations

"Killen, along with Adam Rutland, developed the Social Reasoning Developmental (SRD) model which draws on social domain theory and social identity theory to investigate children's and adolescents' evaluations. predictions, and reasoning about intergroup relationships. Intergroup relationships are defined as contexts in which individuals make decisions that bear on group identity, such as gender, race, ethnicity, immigrant status, wealth status, religion, and nationality, and reflect group dynamics. Research guided by the theory has shown that children and adolescents use multiple forms of reasoning, morality, group identity, and psychological knowledge when making decisions and evaluating intergroup contexts. Morality includes fairness, equality, others' welfare, wrongfulness of discrimination and rights Group identity includes group dynamics, in-group preferences and outgroup distrust, which are often activated in contexts of threat. Further, group advantaged and disadvantaged status, and group functioning are often incorporated in children's decisions to include and exclude peers. As well, psychological knowledge including attributions of intentions and mental state knowledge are significant factors contributing to decisions about actions in intergroup contexts." Additional meaningfulness would be brought to the reader by having knowledge that these things being mentioned—the Social reasoning development model and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)—are independently notable in Wikipedia. Without such knowledge, their being mentioned here runs the risk of raising issues related to WP:COATRACK and WP:CHERRY.
