• An interesting nomination about an all-round Australian actress. New and long enough with 372 words of readable prose. Earwig reports only 4.8% similarity, mainly from production names, so no issues there. The article is generally well sourced. The hook is interesting and stated in the last paragraph of the article, with direct support from Variety. The QPQ review checks out. Only a few minor points need addressing:

• Cite Unseen flags FilmFreeway as generally unreliable, so the citation for The Five Provocations should be replaced with a reliable source or the entry removed.
• A couple of phrases that read slightly promotional to me:

• “long career in the national stage, television and cinema of Australia” → “career in Australian theatre, television and film”
• “helped her deepen her career in theatre” → simply state the collaboration and touring, for example: “In the 1990s, Davey worked with artist and director David Pledger and performed in Retro Futurismus, which toured Australia.”

An optional ALT, also supported by Variety, could focus on Davey being cast younger so that she could perform some of the character’s movements and stunts herself. HerBauhaus · talk 13:25, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

• The new Screen Australia source confirms that Maude Davey was in the cast of The Five Provocations, but it does not identify her role as "Provocateur One". The role therefore still needs a reliable source or the role field could simply be left blank. HerBauhaus · talk 15:36, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

• Yes. I've removed the role because it is not even a human name and could be a generic role by user-generated websites like the one I've seen.
