[edit]I am fairly certain that Matamoros is in Tamaulipas, not Coahuila, and that there is no other Matamoros in Coahuila. Could anyone verify this? - IstvanWolf 03:06, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

This article is misguided
[edit]The surname Matamoros, does not mean More Slayer... I know that if you're a native spanish speaker you may think that. But the reality is that Mata, in this case doesn't means "Kill", it is an acronym, that means "from", and Moros, in this case means cave, so the term really means "from the cave".
