The Perceptions section of this article appears to represent original research. The cited sources do not support the claim that the general reaction to the experiment focused more on the sexual nature of Howe Lovatt's behavior than on the experimental results. A single reliable source (the Christopher Riley article in The Guardian) and a questionable source (the SkyDancing blog) are insufficient to draw such a conclusion. Also, making such a statement assumes that the experiment had results, which have been largely ignored by the media. The facts appear not to bear that out though -- the experiments appeared largely fruitless; Peter never acquired anything resembling human speech. I would further point out that the section you have added is grammatically a mess. If it is to be retained at all (a point that I content), it should be rewritten as:

The recurring narrative of the "Dolphinarium" reduces the work of Howe Lovatt to the provocative headline of interspecies sex rather than scientific research.[1][2]
