Hildesholm in "Northern Sweden"?
[edit]The article mentions that Hildasholm, the country residence built by Malcolm Munthe's father Axel Munthe for his second wife, is in "Northern Sweden". The community of Leksand lies roughly two fifths of the way from the southernmost tip to the northernmost point of Sweden, in other words, it is about as much "northern" as Birmingham is in "northern" England. Of course, it might seem to be "northern" to Axel Munthe, who was born some 400 km further south in Oskarshamn!--Death Bredon (talk) 20:51, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]According to Jangfeldt's biography of his father, the sons were born British subjects and retained Swedish citizenship for a short period only in the 20's. 85.230.178.3 (talk) 07:12, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
