Had to create a article that talks about a very important music artist in the history of Chinese pop music; without Luo Da You, I am sure Chinese music would have sounded very, very much different today. The article is still very raw as you can see; but I would very much like any form of helpful input that can expand the scope of this article.

The figure's name should be Lo TaYou, not Lo Ta-yu

Lo TaYou → Lo Ta-yu – The article was moved from Lo Ta-yu to Lo TaYou by a newly registered account on 14 May 2026 without prior discussion or a proper rationale (the edit summary was just "Misspelled"). A Google News search for "Lo TaYou" returns only 13 results, of which only one source from Yahoo! News Singapore is in English. But that source actually spells the name as "Lo Tayou", without capitalizing the "Y" and does not support a move to "Lo TaYou". The remaining 12 Chinese-language sources use "Lo TaYou" only when citing the subject's Facebook page, which is named "羅大佑 Lo TaYou". This also appears to be the basis of the mover's argument, that the subject's personal social media accounts use the name "羅大佑 Lo TaYou". However, this contradicts WP:ZHNAME, under which Taiwanese names with Wade–Giles romanization are generally written in hyphenated form and without capitalization, as well as the usage in the majority of RS. A quick Google search shows that literally all media refer to the subject as "Lo Ta-yu", including Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Time Out, The Georgia Straight, Taiwan News, Taipei Times, Radio Taiwan International, Taiwan Panorama, Taiwan Today, CommonWealth Magazine, South China Morning Post, The Standard, The Straits Times, CNA, AsiaOne, Tatler Asia, China Daily, etc., as well as the Government of Taiwan. The result of the move request was: procedural close. There was an RM with consensus to move just 5 days ago; a user then moved the article against consensus back to the previous title. Lo TaYou → Lo Ta-yu – The article was undiscussed and unreasonably moved from Lo Ta-yu to Lo TaYou on 14 May 2026 by User:Carlli7581. I initiated an RM discussion on 21 May 2026 to revert the article to its original title, citing WP:ZHNAME (how Taiwanese names are generally presented) and WP:COMMONNAME (based on the overwhelming usage in the majority of RS). The RM was unanimously supported, and the article was moved back on 28 May. However, without any discussion, move review, or even a proper rationale, Carlli7581 moved the article again today.
