Mistakes

There are few mistakes in original article. An example with car is comming should be written "Automobilis atvažiuoja" and "Atvažiuoja automobilis" because "ateina" is used for 'comming by foot' and "atvažiuoja" is used for 'arriving by motor/wheeled wehicle'.

areas where Lithuanian was dominant language (XVI map in the article)

Zigzags of lithuanian linguistics

All these names are of genuine Slavic origin, no Lithuanian.

Attitude of Rotundus
[edit]Polish-born Augustinus Rotundus, .... urged Grand Duke Sigismund II Augustus to use less Muscovite language in all spheres of life and to instead use the Lithuanian language more frequently.
Rotundus did not advocate for the use of the Lithuanian language. Rather, he urged the use of Latin, which he considered the true ancestral language of the Lithuanian nobility. According to the legendary Myth of Palemon, he wrote that the original Lithuanian nobles spoke Latin when they first arrived from Italy. Upon settling in Lithuania, these nobles subjugated the local population, turning them into serfs. Over time, these local peasants absorbed some Latin vocabulary from their masters, while the nobility abandoned their native Latin in favor of the Polish and Ruthenian languages.
