Subject's Citizenship

[edit]

I've fact-checked the first three citations/references added to the subject's page. All of which state that the subject is Indian-American. It is nowhere explicitly stated that the subject is American. Same goes for her holding American citizenship. I've corrected this error in the lead as well as the info-box.

Additionally, I've also corrected the subject's origin to be Chicago (as was mentioned in the info-box). The subject migrated to Chicago, as one source states. That doesn't change her origin to Chicago. Retro music11 (talk) 10:52, 20 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Subject's Discogs profile is user-generated and not WP:RS for WP:BLP.
Also, Discogs.com was potentially considered as one of the sources to assign Citizenship and respective categories to the page. I've remvd the source, corrected the tags and replaced them with relevant ones based on WP policies and reliable sourcing. Retro music11 (talk) 11:19, 20 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Unverified Claim

[edit]

An unverified claim was made on the Article page, stating that, Lisa Mishra lent her vocal on the track "All We Got" on the Grammy-winning mixtape Coloring Book (mixtape) by Chance the Rapper, however, per fact-checking this is not the real case. This claim cannot be verified on any other independent reliable source, nor can it be validated elsewhere. Additionally, the Wikipedia Page for the song is: All We Got and for the mixtape is Coloring Book (mixtape). The claim cannot be validated on those pages as well.

On the page Lisa Mishra, the only source added to verify the statement was a link extracted from the subject's interview with Wikipedia:TIMESOFINDIA, wherein the subject herself is making the claim, and its use for reliability should be evaluated with caution.

Considering the same, I've also added a maintenance template to the article page to invite editors to verify the reliability and authenticity of the remaining sources cited therein. Retro music11 (talk) 13:39, 20 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
