No need for separate articles - needlessly fragments and duplicates topic. Easily presented on a single article. Tom (LT) (talk) 22:05, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
- Support merging both to this article. Matthew Ferguson (talk) 18:40, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
- Support merging both to this article and I combined the sections into one discussion. Two discussions is unnecessary duplication too :) Legacypac (talk) 03:47, 26 February 2016 (UTC)

Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Tubercle of the upper lip be merged into Lip. I think that the content in the Tubercle article can easily be explained in the context of Lip, and the Lip article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Tubercle will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. PepperBeast (talk) 03:09, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yep, merge. You can also leave a note about this at WP:Anatomy. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 05:39, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
Lipstick sexual psychology
[edit]“A woman's lips are therefore sexually attractive to males because they serve as a biological indicator of a woman's health and fertility. A woman's lipstick (or collagen lip enhancement) attempts to take advantage of this fact by creating the illusion that a woman has more estrogen than she actually has and thus that she is more fertile and attractive.”
This feels like a dubious claim for why women wear lipstick from the evidence presented. Lipstick in obviously unnatural colors such as blue or black is fairly common, and lipstick is also often worn by lesbians and other women who are not seeking to procreate with men. Additionally, the citation is not from any peer reviewed journal, but rather from a short essay in The Times from over twenty years ago. Presurakian (talk) 19:26, 22 September 2026 (UTC)
