- I assume you're talking about this sentence: "In traditional Irish music, where almost all tunes are restricted to two octaves, notes in the lower octave are written in lower case while those in the upper octave are written in upper case." It was unsourced and seems to be the exact opposite of what your link shows and how ABC notation does it. Onlynone (talk) 15:54, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
