I've listed this article for peer review because my goal is to have the article reach good article or featured article status. I have recently completed a major overhaul on the article, working extensively on trying to improve readability, organize information in chronological order, review and improve references, and meet policies and guidelines. I am currently the top editor of this article, with my first edit being nearly 4 years ago. It appears that the previous peer review was over a year ago, and the article has gone through extensive updates since then. I appreciate any and all feedback and contributions to achieve this goal.
OP Update: I made several edits to various sections, reviewing sources and removing any references that were simply social media posts or YouTube videos. I also found sources that were suitable in removing Template:Citation needed from multiple sections. — ★ Mjmatousek ★ (talk • contribs) 02:32, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Update: I reverted the list back to sentence format. I also applied better references to this section, removing the social media sources. Thank you for the recommendation. — ★ Mjmatousek ★ (talk • contribs) 02:28, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
By the way, when you say "including," does it mean there are more influenced artists? Because listing that many people isn't advisable. I'm not against it tho. dxneo (talk) 14:14, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I’m certain there's more out there, but these are the ones I've found with clear statements in news articles as opposed to social media posts and short moments in unpublished video/audio interviews. — ★ Mjmatousek ★ (talk • contribs) 15:06, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello! There has been a discussion regarding changing the lead/infobox image to something more preferable. The current image is from 2025, and the proposed image is from 2021. Another option that was mentioned was returning to the previous image that used to be in place. Before making a change, I wanted to allow an opportunity for others to weigh in here. Thanks!

Much of this biography has been written with ChatGPT, and it contains puffery and hallucinations. It should be greatly pruned back and rewritten by human brainpower.
As an example, the page was expanded in July by Mjmatousek who added pure AI-generated text to say that Salonga "employed a lighter head voice" in her Mulan role, "revealing her ability to adjust her vocal timbre to suit animated characters and musical storytelling." The cited source is just sheet music with no description of Salonga's vocal dexterity or style.
That's just a small example. Many more hallucinations are in the biography. A massive rollback effort must be undertaken to restore truth to the page. After that, the page can be rebuilt by human editors. Binksternet (talk) 21:18, 25 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Update: User Mjmatousek has left the wiki, applying Wikipedia:Courtesy vanishing after several years of contributing. The biography has been reduced by 30kb, removing a great deal of AI-generated puffery along with excessive detail and unnecessary extra citations. More citations could be removed without harming the page. Even so, I think the biography is in much better shape, and we can move forward. Thanks to Royiswariii who stepped up to the task of clearing out the problematic cites and text. Binksternet (talk) 18:48, 26 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
