There is currently a redirect from Lana Rhoades to List of Penthouse Pets. The redirect is currently protected due to repeated re-creation. That protection should be left in place. It is still in order.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Robert McClenon (talkcontribs) 07:08, 8 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Add `former pornstar` to her profession ~2025-40837-23 (talk) 22:32, 16 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. The article already mentions that she is a former pornographic film actress, in the opening sentence. Day Creature (talk) 00:05, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

'Former'?

[edit]

The lede says: 'Lana Rhoades is an American internet personality, podcaster and former pornographic film actress'

The article says that she still posts nudes on OnlyFans and makes a lot of money from that. In view of that, just calling her 'an internet personality ... and a 'former pornographic film actress' creates a misleading impression, since it makes the reader assume that she no longer works as a professional erotic entertainer. I suppose that an accurate way to summarise the actual situation in the lede would be to describe her as an 'American internet personality, podcaster, OnlyFans model and former pornographic film actress'. I've just seen some undated FB video focusing on her critique on the porn industry that describes her work on OnlyFans as a 'successful stint' that is apparently over as of the making of the video. However, various Google hits suggest that she has relaunched her OnlyFans, that she has joined an alternative to OnlyFans known as Hidden, and, most recently, that she is now the chief creative director of said alternative (under the title h1dd3n). I don't know if any of these sources are reliable; if the info is correct, the article is out of date; but in any case I am no longer sure that my adding OnlyFans model, as I suggested, is adequate. 'Erotic model', perhaps? Wikipedia articles seems to use just 'model' for such cases, for whatever reason.--Anonymous44 (talk) 12:03, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
