Two of the previous collisions involved the Mir space station, so the claim that all previous collisions have been between smaller satellites is not accurate. --GW 07:43, 12 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Apparently it was launched into LEO (according to the main article), but the summary on the side claims it was a Medium Earth Orbit. This is clearly inconsistent. The 2009 collision article claims both satellites were in LEO.
