Hi, I'm afraid I don't understand your question/remark. Are you wondering what the name of the chef is in French? A particular person or the word 'chef'? soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 18:58, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Executive chef

Big hotels have these. Are they kitchen brigade (so need adding to this article) or are they office-based management (so maybe not this article)? --Northernhenge (talk) 22:33, 3 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Summary table is not useful

[edit]

The "summary table" just repeats a seemingly random set of positions from the main body of the article, in a different order. If those are the primary/most important positions in the kitchen brigade, they should be emphasized in the text, not repeated. The pronunciation guides for the French are handy, but they should also be in the body, not a separate section.

Some of the translations need work, too — "Entrée preparer" is not a clear translation of entremétier because "entrée" has a different meaning in English than it has in French. If we leave it as "entrée," that's not a translation! AvrahamHerschel (talk) 13:05, 19 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
