Bias

[edit]

This article seems to be nothing but criticism of Kevin Warsh. I would like to see less biased information and be allowed to draw my own conclusions.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Erikhansenwong (talkcontribs) 20:30, 21 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Who are you? When was this posted? Why are you anonymous? Stevenmitchell (talk) 18:13, 31 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Middle name?

[edit]

This might sound strange, but does anyone know what the 'M.' in Kevin M. Warsh stands for? I've been trying to find the middle names for a few of the governors, but so far I haven't had any luck. Answerthis 14:36, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Maxwell. Cythericos (talk) 16:46, 17 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the answer Cythericos. Do you happen to have a link that can confirm this? I'd like to have sources to back this up. Answerthis 07:42, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
This article from 2026 has his middle name listed as Maxwell. Peripteros (talk) 01:14, 4 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Parents' Names

[edit]

Does anyone know the names of Warsh's parents? I am not asking for the name of his father in law. Budrose (talk) 10:39, 28 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

The article lists Robert and Judith Warsh as the subject's parents. Peripteros (talk) 01:14, 4 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Exact Position?

[edit]

This article never names the exact position Kevin Warsh was appointed to at the Fed. 38.140.254.98 (talk) 19:45, 17 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Warsh was considered to be a possible nominee to succeed Janet Yellen in 2018 for the position of Chair of the Federal Reserve. Peripteros (talk) 01:14, 4 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Change:

== Early life and education ==

Warsh was born in Albany, New York,[1] the youngest of three children of Judith and Robert Warsh. To: == Early life and education == Warsh was born in Albany, New York, to a Jewish family, [2] the youngest of three children of Judith and Robert Warsh.

Kevin Warsh's Jewish heritage is known and can be verified easily. JAZ432 (talk) 16:45, 9 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done. You need to provide sources that support this, and explain why it's relevant; we wouldn't say so-and-so was born to a Protestant family, unless there was some specific reason to point it out. Deacon Vorbis (carbon  videos) 17:56, 9 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Wealth

[edit]

This biography states, "In January 2006, Warsh's filing to the Office of Government Ethics indicated that he and his wife, the heiress Jane Lauder, had US$65.3 million in assets, with Warsh and his joint accounts holding between US$916,000 and US$2.07 million in assets," but Forbes lists Ms. Jane Lauder alone as having a net worth of about $1.9 BILLION. ReallyGolden (talk) 19:57, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

The article is from 2006. It directly says that Lauder had US$64.3 million then. That much should not be surprising; the market value of Estée Lauder Companies has increased significantly since then. elijahpepe@wikipedia (he/him) 04:55, 20 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
