"This article may rely excessively on sources too closely associated with the subject" - this is absolute nonsense. I have never met the singer, I have seen ONE performance, I am not related with him, I am not in love to him, I am not a fan - just someone who does not like the fact, that black singers are under-represented in Wikipedia. Lyric Opera of Chicago, Americas second largest opera house, presented Blue in November 2024. The cast consisted of ten Afroamerican singers - NONE OF THE TEN had an article in Wikipedia. I agree, there should be no copyright violation in Wikipedia. But this accusation is ridiculous. Of course there are the same operas and the same roles left and right, but to mention them is no copyright violation. Listed as dubious is also "Alumnus of the Adler Fellowship Program at San Francisco Opera and the Domingo-Caftriz Emerging Artist", "Program at Washington National Opera" or "Academy of Vocal Arts, Wolf Trap Opera and holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Ohio University".
