Contradictory information regarding Kate's son

The article contains contradictory information regarding Kate's son Willie. The last paragraph of the Marriage and Divorce" section directly contradicts the first paragraph of "Later Years" on the subject of Willie's age at the time of his death, and possibly other details.

If the correct information can be confirmed, the details regarding Willie can all be given in the "Marriage and Divorce" section, and the "Later Years" section can simply say, "following Willie's death..." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.97.149.168 (talk) 18:52, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Potential First Lady?

She was a strong supporter of her widowed father's presidential ambitions which, had he been successful, would have made her First Lady.

This point is made in the lede, but not in the article. Are you sure it's accurate? Chase remarried after the death of his second wife. Valetude (talk) 02:14, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

Sarah Bella Dunlop Ludlow, the woman Salmon P. Chase married after the death of his second wife, herself died in 1852. Chase did not marry again, so if he had been elected President any time after 1852, the odds are he would have delegated the duties of a First Lady to his daughter Kate.
