Actually the topic is notable and much has been written about it, and how it impacts the narrative of the resurrection, the character of the Magdalene in the NT and also the related iconography, e.g. The Resurrection and the Icon, by Michel Quenot 1998 ISBN 0881411493 pages 104-106. The biblical analysis issues are discussed in sources such as Narrative criticism of the New Testament by James L. Resseguie 2005 ISBN 0801027896 pages 141-145
