Which software?

[edit]

"The film was produced using off-the-shelf software" -- please elaborate.

Newtek's Lightwave (modeling, lighting, rendering), Messiah(Animation), Digital Fusion (Compositing) and a small spattering of Maya(animation)

Reason for date pushed?

[edit]

This may sound like an incredibly stupid question (since the answer may be obvious), but what was the cause for the date to be pushed from November 11th to December 11th? My guesses say that it was perhaps because of the September 11th attacks, but it could have also been due to another issue. Is it possible someone can site the cause? Thanks. :) --DannyDaWriter 17:05, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, the movie was still being worked on Sept 11th. It wasn't a productive day since we were all watching the news, but it didn't stall the movie.

Yolkians have Ludicrous speed or faster? (only people who have seen SPACEBALLS can read this.)

[edit]

Remember when the yolkians made the jump? But they can't have gotton to earth that fast, it would have taken years even from the closest system at light speed. Could the yolkians have technology of the Spaceballs and have gone into Ludicrous speed? Or could they be even more advanced and go faster? Darth Vader II 16:46, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Yolkians have admitted to being an advanced alien race, millions of years ahead of humans, so it's highly probable that they had invented a faster-than-light drive that could allow that type of travel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.41.36.2 (talk) 14:25, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Meaning?

[edit]

What does this mean?

"By now, the shrink ray is working again, so Nick Dean also had the Golden Rule"

Rojomoke (talk) 10:41, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think it should be removed. It has poor sentence structure and confused the pants off of me. 192.197.71.189 (talk) 15:33, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Home Media Release/Edit Request 3//3/14

[edit]
When did this movie get released onto VHS and DVD? I do remember the promotions for the VHS and DVD release on some of my Nick and Nick Jr VHS tapes back when they where new, and that was back in 2002. This probably means that the movie got its home media release in late 2001 or early 2002. Could someone add the home media release date to the artical? --24.147.1.197 (talk) 21:49, 3 March 2014 (UTC)Jacob ChesleyReply

According to google it's July 2, 2002 Brownspoof Not vandailizm

The section headings "Voice talent cast", "Movie Theatrical release" and "Home video media" need to be changed back to "Voice cast", "Theatrical release" and "Home media" respectively. 156.195.130.103 (talk) 04:24, 30 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Already done I fixed Movie Theatrical release to Theatrical release as requested. The other 2 sections either already were corrected (e.g Home media) or were renamed by another editor to something else (Cast). Cheers! —Sirdog (talk) 04:39, 30 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

About the sentence "In February 2025, it was reported that the sequel is in development by Paramount Animation", I think it would be better to say, "In February 2025, it was reported that A sequel is in development by Paramount Animation" because there was no prior news about the announced movie before. 2603:6010:8B00:44FF:F9D5:A67:D333:4618 (talk) 05:18, 4 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not done: The section it is in establishes the concept, making "the sequel" grammatically correct. (3OpenEyes' communication receptacle) | (PS: Have a good day) (acer was here) 08:02, 4 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Nickelodeon Movies is not a distribution label

[edit]

Nickelodeon Movies is not a distributor, it is a production company. Just because the credits state "Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies present" does not mean Nickelodeon served as a co-distributor with Paramount. It should not be included as distributor in the infobox. TPalkovitz (talk) 02:35, 6 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

What "presents" as a credit means is that the company was not a production company for the film. The presents credit is given to the sponsoring studio which is usually the distributor of the film. The actual production company gets a "produced by" credit in the opening credits. Nickelodeon Movies is owned by Paramount Pictures and is the distribution label for Paramount family films. Geraldo Perez (talk) 02:46, 6 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
It wasn't under Nick for Paramount, it was both (paramount and Nick Present). also there are many examples of films in which the studio making it has only a presents credit (The Road to El Dorado, early Aardman films, The Spongebob Movies 2-4, etc. and United INternational Pictures wasn't replacing Paramount and Nick in the states, it was simply through UIP Paramount handled worldwide rights (UIP doesn't steal their credits in foriegn market, their logo just appears before the movie's other logos) while some movies fit what your going for (paw patrol for example) ,the adventure of Tintin, Spongebob movie 1, and most Nick and Amazon MGM films do not work with it distributor credits on wikipedia if they also are credited foreignly but with an international partner helping. ~2026-25419-4 (talk) 21:10, 27 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
