@Isjadd773 I appreciate BOLD but the page state prior to your initial reversion was reached after months of informal consensus editing. I do think some of the points you brought up in your edit descriptions definitely have merit, but rather than approach an edit war with continuous reversions, we should have a discussion here about how to best approach the most encyclopedic version of the page, and see if other editors want to weigh in as well.
NPOV is important, especially for BLP. But the way the section is written right now would probably not strike a casual reader as encyclopedic. It reads like commentary, particularly with its emphasis on blow-by-blow, and it reads like soapbox. With representing legal cases on Wikipedia, especially recent or current ones, it's more NPOV to stick to legal details, rather than narrative. If narrative is involved, I think it's best to involve it in such a way as to give proportional amounts of context or other perspective, rather than as it is now, where extraneous narrative detail buries the actual legal facts.
I agree that there are ways to improve the version on the page before your first reversion. However, TMZ is a tabloid and of questionable reliability. I'd propose discussion about its inclusion. Likeanechointheforest (talk) 18:12, 29 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
More . BTW, don't hold your breath waiting for WP's regular editors and admins to start adding this information to the article. Jay-Z was a big supporter of the Democratic Party so the regular editors here will try to protect him. ~2025-33181-22 (talk) 15:19, 3 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

As of late, Carter has started going by JAŸ-Z on streaming platforms. Should this be reflected in the "Other Names" section of his little blurb in the beginning of the article? Thanks ~2026-14263-33 (talk) 17:52, 5 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
