In Vietnam, who is same of the year will study as a same cohort.But in Japan, the school year starts in April, and the academic year is determined by a April 2nd to April 1st cutoff. This means those born between April 2nd of one year and April 1st of the next belong to the same cohort.For example, if you were born on April 1, 2026, you are in 10th grade as the youngest in your class.
