Prolegomena Redirect

[edit]

Both by its content, and by etymology, "Prolegomenon" and "Prolegomena" should probably redirect to Prologue, not Introduction. Prolegomena establish the fundamental terms of a scientific paper or treatise, but they do not serve the purpose of an introduction, as detailed in this article. This is why Kant can write his Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics; they are not an introduction in stating the origin and purpose of metaphysical research (which in any case would not be his own), but instead serve to establish the fundamental terms of what "any future metaphysics" can be about. --Don Ecchi (talk) 12:54, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
