[edit]

According this list Injuids didn't have Iranian origin: List of Iranian dynasties and countries. Information from Google books:

  • The Huns, Rome and the Birth of Europe, By Hyun Jin Kim:

"Thus the Muzaffarids and Injuids (former Mongol governors) became rulers of Yazd, Fars and Isfahan."

  • The Legacy of Genghis Khan: Courtly Art and Culture in Western Asia, 1256-1353, edited by Linda Komaroff, Stefano Carboni, Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York, N.Y.):

"From about 1304, on the local ruling family of Injuids (originally administrators of Mongol inju, or crown states ) enjoyed considerable independence; they were essentially autonomous from about 1325 until their eclipes in 1357 by the Muzaffids, a family that seized power in the Yazd region during reign of abu Sa'id."
