I wanted to let you know that this article is incorrect.

I am the CEO of Cornerstone AFC, Inc. the place where Ian Fishback resided at the time of his death. It is a tragedy that Ian died, he was a fantastic human being whose life should be celebrated and honored! We are grateful for Ian's sacrifice, the true reason he has passed is due to the mental illness he had from his experience in wartime. His autopsy revealed that he died of heart failure which can be related to someone suffering from paranoia. Cornerstone had Ian for 12 days, during that time we believed that he was overmedicated, however, it is not within the scope of practice for any AFC home in Michigan to make that determination. We did advocate for a medication review along with his sister, Jaz. Our role in medication management is to administer and store medications. In fact, the medication that we are referring to that could have caused him to be overmedicated was not administered by the Cornerstone team because it was an injectable medication, it was administered by his pharmacy. Stating that we continued to overmedicate him is not factual and should be changed because it does not reflect well on our organization and is not the truth. I can provide documentation if needed to prove this to be the case. Please change the part of this article that sounds accusatory of the AFC home. and medication management. I want to also mention that our team was extremely distraught and traumatized by the death of Ian through their life saving measures and it is hard for them to read this as they are deeply affected still by this loss. We need to continue to shed light on our behavioral health system in Michigan and the lack of resources, funding and education that it takes to serve people like Ian. Our vulnerable citizens deserve to be treated well and I am hopeful that stories like Ian's can shed light on some of these issues. We would appreciate if this page could reflect accurately what happened. I feel that it is unethical to update this page myself as I believe it to be a conflict of interest. Once again, I would like to say that this is not factual. I am also noting that there is more information that is not factual since I reviewed this article last. There is legal documentation to support this request and in fact, court documentation as well. This article is damaging to both Cornerstone AFC as well as Person First Coalition. Suggestions for Improvement

1. Then Captain Fishback's letter to Sen. McCain should be summarized and the full text moved to Wikisource.
2. Material from "A Complicated Legacy: Army Officer Who Exposed Iraq Abuse Was Under FBI Suspicion at the End of His Life" should be incorporated into the main body.
