made this page

[edit]
Note: The page was originally titled "Islamic Society of North America Elementary School", has since been moved to "ISNA Canada" and edited to cover more than just the school. --doncram 23:44, 5 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi I am a student of Isna Elementary School and I made this page as a spinoff from the ISNA page. I want to inform more Wikipedians about my school and if you have any questions or comments on it don't be shy to inform me. I am also deciding to put up pictures (I have exterior pictures of both before and after the renovation) on this page. Thx! 208.65.245.12 23:51, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Probable old vandalism

[edit]

This block of three edits on 16 November 2014 appear to be vandalism. The tone appears subtly derogatory or nonsensical (e.g. why dig up time capsule in 2014 that was only buried in 2013?), and a cursory search does not seem to corroborate the added information. I will attempt to remove this text, subject to subsequent extensive edits. Nick Cooper (talk) 12:08, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

ISNA Development Foundation

[edit]

ISNA Development Foundation is not the same as ISNA Canada. The two shared the same address, but are legally two separate organizations. Hence discussion of ISNA Development Foundation on this page should be limited.VR talk 14:26, 20 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Interesting. In the Jami Mosque (Toronto) article it said:
In 2017, Jami was found to be raising money that was indirectly being used to fund the Jamaat-E-Islami and its armed wing Hizbul Mujahideen, on Canada's list of banned organizations. As a result, ISNA Islamic Services of Canada, the group organizing the drive was ordered to pay a CAD500,000 fine. According to the Canadian Revenue Agency: "the society’s resources may have, directly or indirectly, been used the support the political efforts of Jamaat-e-Islami and/or its armed wing Hizbul Mujahideen."
Thestar.com talks about Mississauga’s ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) Development Foundation and globalnews.ca article talks about "Islamic Society of North America-Canada". So if those are 2 distinct entities we should figure out who is what. Polygnotus (talk) 07:45, 20 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
