Dutch name
[edit]Magna Frisia, I added the Dutch name of Holwert to the lead, please can you explain why you removed it here? TSventon (talk) 15:39, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- Technically the old spelling "Holwerd" doesn't exist anymore, as the Dutch government only recognizes the official name of settlements and considers the official name to be Dutch. This is reflected by Dutch language media who also started to spell the name as Holwert since January 1 (regional Dutch language news paper: BBB-lijstduwer Femke Wiersma uit Holwert grootste stemmenkanon bij Statenverkiezingen: haalt 8206 stemmen, national public broadcaster: Ligt het dorp Holwert straks aan zee?)
