Talk:Hermandad
Add topicI highly doubt this is real seeing as I live in mexico, the kidnappings are done by Los Zetas. La Hermandad was most likely a portrayal of them without provoking the death of Denzel Washington. How can this be requested for deletion?
An organization of delinquent police calling itself La Hermandad operates in the state of Tabasco, headed by the former state public safety commissioner there. Source: Proceso magazine, issue No. 1594. --Brayton.
La Hermandad is the name of a very old secret society within the Mexico City Police department. It´s members help each other out with promotions, key posts and of course corruption. The general idea is to "manage" Mexico`s City crime for professional, financial and personal gain. Funny but if you watch another Denzel Washington movie "Trainning Day" you probably get a better idea of how "La Hermandad" REALLY works...as it is NOT a GANG per se.
