I removed the link to "decapitation" that was put on the words "take their head" because there is a fine distinction between decapitation and taking someone's head. To decapitate someone is to kill someone by cutting off their head (ex. guillotine). There is no implicit understanding that the head is then to actually be taken. Headhunters, on the other hand, could not be said to have decapitated their victims because death was brought about not through decapitation, but through some other means.
