Request for AfC review – Hanuman Ansh
[edit]Hello,
Could someone please review Draft:Hanuman Ansh? The article concerns an upcoming Indian biographical film and contains references from reliable published sources. Any feedback regarding sourcing, notability, or formatting would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you. ~2026-35960-90 (talk) 10:29, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
More reliable sources added
[edit]I have updated the draft by adding additional reliable, independent sources to improve verifiability. Updated news article references with newer and more accurate source links. Added the film's official website as an external reference where appropriate. Added the official Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) certification link to verify the film's certification details and runtime. Replaced or corrected outdated URLs to ensure that all references are functional and properly support the information in the draft. These changes are intended to improve the draft's compliance with Wikipedia's verifiability and reliable sourcing guidelines.

References
[edit]This looks pretty refbombed with a lot of questionable sources (especially Times of India) and probably needs an overhaul. I'll try to work on it later if no one else does, but could an editor who's fluent in Hindi add translated English titles to the Hindi sources? That helps readers (and editors) who don't speak it at least have some idea what the source is about. ChompyTheGogoat [ Bleat | Munched ] 00:43, 22 September 2026 (UTC)

hanuman ansh box office collection is not updated. this figure is older.[edit]I edited twice yesterday, the right figure of box office collection of Hanuman Ansh movie. also I given reference from Times of India the renowned media partner of India, so my question is why you removed it and again you put older figures? This can create wrong information about movie. we want that people should get the info real. SKoswal (talk) 07:03, 25 September 2026 (UTC)

wrong sources of box office collection report being approved by you.[edit]you always talk about reliable sources of box office collection reports. and now you approved the wrong figure of Rs.340 crores worldwide collection. the right figure of box office collection for Hanuman Ansh movie is Rs.389.85crores worldwide. if we update the same then you have problem with the sources we add like, times of India, Indian Express, etc. SKoswal (talk) 04:35, 27 September 2026 (UTC)

here is a good reliable source that can be used.

- I think from the wording there the 340.7 crore figure is just for the domestic gross, plus the US$3.5 million international gross - is that your interpretation as well? They give $35.5 million as the conversion for 340.7 crore and theoretically I think it would be ok to combine 35.5+3.5 as just basic math without getting into OR/SYNTH territory, but unfortunately they don't give the crore conversion for the international gross and I'm still of the opinion that we can't do conversions ourselves, which leaves us still unable to state a worldwide gross in crore from this article. I've used the 340.7 figure for now since it's a step up from the domestic net. Given the publicity it's getting hopefully more reliable sources will continue publishing updates we can use. - bollywood hungama has finally posted world wide figure. Updated the page with latest figure. RangersRus (talk) 13:30, 27 September 2026 (UTC)
- That's good. I'm still not fully convinced on reliability for any of these, but going with established consensus is our best option for the time being. Thanks for updating. ChompyTheGogoat [ Bleat | Munched ] 13:42, 27 September 2026 (UTC)
- (For what it's worth, I did check the above SYNTH conversion and got about 374 crore per the Variety figures, so we're still dealing with a fairly wide range depending on source and exact time of reporting.) ChompyTheGogoat [ Bleat | Munched ] 13:53, 27 September 2026 (UTC)
