The primary ones are referring to any figure as a god or deity in regard to Haudenosaunee mythology. There are no gods or deities, the Haudenosaunee do not worship. There is a creator, but that is all he is, not a omnipotent ruler. The Haudenosaunee do not pray or worship, we give thanks, celebrate, and our traditions revolve around being thankful for all of the things the earth provides us.
