Island order?

Is there a reason the islands in Grenadines are not in alphabetical order? Could we change it or is there a reason for the current layout? Thanks.--naomi 14:46, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Use by whalers

I updated the mention of Petit Nevis to say “formerly used by whalers” because historical sources indicate that whaling activity there ceased in the early to mid-1990s. According to the German Wikipedia entry on Bequia, the last whale was flensed on Petit Nevis in 1993, after which processing moved to another site. This change improves factual accuracy while keeping the language concise. I’m happy to provide a citation if needed.
