Demolition
[edit]I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the owner said he was going to keep the lobby and the dining rooms, and refurbish the rest of the place according to this article here: https://spectrumlocalnews.com/nc/charlotte/news/2025/05/29/green-park-inn-owner-explains-its-fate That being said, I don't think this article qualifies to have a "was" in the leader yet. The hotel's still there, and the owner plans to reopen it, albeit smaller. Although it's getting mostly rebuilt, it's still going to be fundamentally the same hotel.
