Government of China → Political system of China – The previous discussion ended without a consensus, and some users proposed renaming the article as an alternative. I personally think this is a much better method, as it preserves the article content. Maybe it can gain more support compared to the previous proposal. Government of the People's Republic of China
[edit]Currently, I have one small quip regarding this article's use of the term "government of the People's Republic of China". While I can see how "government of China" can refer to the broader state structures generally, "government of the People's Republic of China" is a very specific legal term China uses to conduct treaties with other nations; it generally refers to the Central People's Government, i.e. the State Council, so equating the whole state structure with the government of the People's Republic of China is misleading. - This will have to be part of a larger push. We have three articles: Politics of China, Government of China and the System of people's congress that are all about the same thing. It can be done, but then we have to make the edits first, and then do the other things. TheUzbek (talk) 08:17, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
