Etymology

[edit]

We need the etymology of this word, as well as the Tamil script (and scripts in other South Indian languages, if applicable). Badagnani 01:34, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Article title

[edit]

N. Ravikiran calls it chitravina so should this article be moved? Badagnani 01:35, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I also think it's odd that this is called Gottuvadhyam here on english wikipedia when pretty much all the others call it some variation of Chitra veena. From the history of this page it's also clear that it was once two pages, Chitra veena and Gottuvadhyam and that these were merged. Most text on this wikipedia article actually names it Chitra veena! ~🐈🐈~~何? 09:08, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
