Information given regarding Golfito Marinas is grossly inaccurate and neglects to give the actual situation where 3 fully functioning and modern, liscensed marinas operate successfully offering local and transit Sportfishing mooring, cruising sailboat anchorage areas, mega yacht facilities as well as affiliated restaurants,bars and lodging. Additionally the report of details relating to the Golfito duty free shopping area is grossly inaccurate and out of date. The quoted sum of allowance for purchases was raised substantially and shopping no longer requires an overnight stay. Conveniently, visits to the duty free zone are a one day in and out shopping experience.
